Susan Dreyer Leon
Susan Dreyer Leon, EdD, is a faculty member in the Education Department at Antioch University’s New England campus. She directs the Mindfulness for Educators and Trauma Informed Education Programs as well as helping to coordinate the Master’s Programs for working teachers. Prior to her time at Antioch, Susan worked in alternative high school programs in New York City and Vermont. She is also a teacher at Vermont Insight Meditation Center in Brattleboro, VT.

Edna Koh Hwa Tang
Edna Koh Hwa Tang has been a board member since 2025. Edna is a family nurse practitioner in Seattle, WA and a former assistant at L’Arche GWDC and L’Arche Tahoma Hope. Edna attended graduate school at the University of Vermont. Before her Doctorate of Nursing degree, Edna completed a B.A. in American and English Literature and Creative Writing at Middlebury College.

Kathleen Meehan
Kathleen Meehan, M.D. joined the board of L’Arche Southern Vermont in 2023. She is a retired physician who spent most of her career in geriatric medicine, working with both well and disabled elderly. She was drawn to L’Arche through the work of Henri Nouwen.

Barbara Lee
Barbara Lee, M.D. is a founding member of L’Arche Southern Vermont. She is a retired surgeon who focused on reconstructive surgery, aiming to restore form and function to areas of the body affected by congenital defects, trauma, disease, and more. Barbara is co-chair of the State Program Standing Committee, a gubernatorial-appointed group that advises the Developmental Disabilities Service Division in Vermont on the status and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
